SKOLL: World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship

CONVENERS.ORG FOUNDING MEMBER

Each year, nearly 1,000 of the world’s most influential social entrepreneurs, key thought leaders, and strategic partners gather at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School to exchange ideas, solutions, and information.

Join  top innovators from more than 60 countries who come together for the Skoll World Forum in Oxford, England for three days of debate, discussion, networking, and design to accelerate entrepreneurial solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. This year’s theme, Fierce Compassion, will explore how effective change agents simultaneously embrace the dual, often opposing qualities of deep distress—over an unjust status quo—and deep compassion for those suffering from poverty, conflict, and injustice. Joining us during this pivotal time of challenge and hope, His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the embodiment of fierce compassion and commitment to the promotion of basic human values and peace worldwide.

The Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship is the premier international platform for advancing entrepreneurial approaches and solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Our mission is to accelerate the impact of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs by uniting them with essential partners in a collaborative pursuit of learning, leverage, and large-scale social change.
