The World Ocean Festival is a public event on June 4th hosted by the City of New York and organized by The Global Brain Foundation to raise peoples’ voices for the preservation and sustainable use of our oceans (Sustainable Development Goal 14) in advance of the The Ocean Conference, which aims to be the game changer that will reverse the decline in the health of the Ocean for people, planet and prosperity.
We’re inviting ocean lovers from across the world to join a collective voice standing up for the Ocean. You can participate in the World Ocean Festival by:

Attending the Ocean Village in NYC

The Ocean Village will be a celebration of art, education, innovation and tools for action in support of the Ocean. A schedule of events will be announced in the next month. More info: https://www.worldoceanfest.org/the-event/#ocean-village

Participating in the Ocean March in NYC and across the globe

A parade of large and small boats on the water as a statement of unity for the ocean. The Ocean March in NYC will take place in the New York Harbor. Not in New York? We’re looking for passionate ocean lovers to organize an Ocean March in their regions in unison with the Ocean March in NY. More info: https://www.worldoceanfest.org/the-event/#ocean-march
