January 11, 2017 @ 6:30 PM—7:30 PM PST

$20

CONVENERS.ORG MEMBER EVENT

As the biggest foreign aid donor in the world, the US has a huge influence on how much other governments contribute to global efforts such as poverty elimination, reducing hunger and increasing access to education and healthcare. During his campaign, however, President-elect Trump said little about his stance on international aid. If the next administration discontinues or significantly reduces funding, what options do aid organizations and developing countries have? Hear Dana Hyde, Chief Executive Director of Millennium Challenge Corporation and Richard Leach, President and CEO of the World Food Program USA discuss major achievements in recent years and shifting priorities for the future.
