Catalysing the Benefits of Globalization

Horasis will convene the 2019 Horasis Global Meeting in Cascais, Portugal over 6-9 April. The annual Horasis Global Meeting is one of the world’s foremost gatherings of business leaders who interact with key government officials and eminent thought leaders. The Horasis community will gather to debate this year’s theme, “Catalysing the Benefits of Globalization”.

Delegates will discuss and devise novel ideas which will help to reposition globalization as a great portion of the world perceives they are globalization’s losers. Despite widespread backlash, globalization is unstoppable. Now we must make it more fair and just. With this meeting, we will envision a new modus operandi that restores people’s faith in the idea of an egalitarian globalization, and one that delivers those promises.

Cascais is conveniently located 30min from Lisbon Airport and – with its enchanting location right on the Atlantic – is one of Europe’s truly legendary resorts. As in 2017 and 2018, the Horasis Global Meeting is held in partnership with the City of Cascais and the Portuguese Government.
