Expo 2020 Dubai
October 1, 2021—March 31, 2022
“From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, Expo 2020 Dubai will encourage meaningful, positive change
We are pleased to confirm that following the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Executive Committee’s recommendation, BIE Member States have voted remotely and have agreed to both the postponement and the proposed new dates for Expo 2020, which are now 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
We welcome this final decision, which allows participating countries around the globe to safely navigate the impact of COVID-19. This additional time also allows us to prepare to welcome a more united and resilient world in 2021, where we will collectively celebrate culture, creativity and innovation.”
