We’re looking for students currently enrolled/recently graduated from Metro Atlanta colleges & universities (Associates Degrees through – PhD) to want to come up with ideas for websites, apps, chatbots/digital assistants, artificial intelligence, virtual/augmented reality, analytics, Big Data, drones, IoT, etc. solutions. We want to make the world a better place through social innovation. We are educators. Register today for Middlebury's faculty and staff June Forum. Each summer, colleagues from across the U.S. and beyond come together at Middlebury's rural mountain campus to share ideas on building the best opportunities for students who want to make a difference in the world. This year's theme is "From Local to Global: Exploring the Changemaking Continuum." Educators and practitioners will gather to make connections between local and global changemaking. We’ll discuss concepts and competencies that are most critical to students confronting contemporary societal challenges. In this retreat-like setting, everyone will have the chance to forge relationships and partnerships around the fire, over a glass of wine, in a workshop, or on a walk in the woods.

We are thrilled to announce innovator Michael Sorrell, President of Paul Quinn College, as our keynote speaker. Come hear what he has to say about combining rigorous academics, experiential learning, entrepreneurship, and locally-minded service in pursuit of positive social change. Together, we will also consider such topics as transcending borders, teaching intercultural competency, facilitating dialogue across difference, leveraging storytelling for social change, and community-based learning.
